With a new car and a new camera, I decided to take a short road trip up PCH. Along the way, I stopped at La Purísima Concepción, a mission outside of Lompoc to test out the 60d.
The mission has a very simple layout, and is the most restored mission in California.
After visiting the mission, I continued up the coast, stopping every once in a while when the clouds opened up and offered me views like this.
This drive never gets old.
Just south of Monterey I took a hike through the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.
